A. & B. This innovative, robust sharpening system accommodates a full range of turning tools. The basic jig has two bases (for mounting under each grinding wheel), a 27-1/2" sliding arm and V-post (for longer tools), and a tool rest. Easily adjustable for height and angle, the 5" wide tool rest table straddles wheels up to 1" wide and has radiused lower corners for smooth hand movement around the back edges of the table.
Although the long sliding arm easily transfers between bases, we offer an optional 13-3/4" short arm for those who wish to leave attachments in place. Both have easy-to-read reference scales for quick and precise position recall. Instructions included.
C. The Kelton skew chisel arm provides a wide range of adjustment for both rake and bevel angles. Locking it in the desired position and pivoting the skew produces a flawless straight grind, while swinging the arm itself creates perfectly radiused grinds with ease. At 16" overall, it is for chisels 18" and longer.
