The T-filter has a 150-mesh screen and filters out small particles down
to 100 microns. Although it is best suited for well water, it should be
used with any system that has fine dripper outlets regardless of the water
H & J. Header Hose and Fittings
A header hose (5/8" or 1/2") delivers water from the source to
the watering system. At 30 psi, and using a 1/2" x 50' hose,
the flow rate is approximately 420 gallons per hour; for a 5/8" x 50'
hose, the approximate flow rate is 720 gallons per hour.
Straight connectors, T-connectors and elbows have double-barbed sleeves
that press-fit into sections of header hose to make branches or 90° bends
in the line. Compression ends are used to seal the end of the header hose.
G. In-Line Shut-Off Valve
In-line shut-off valves are handy, especially when you are far from your
faucet and want to make some adjustments. They can also be used to manually
zone (break into parts) a watering system. They have barbed connectors
that fit inside the hose. For 1/2" or 5/8" I.D. hose.
1/4" Hose and Fittings
1/4" polyethylene tubing, 50' long, for connecting drippers, sprayers
and sprinklers to the main header hose.
Extension Hose Sets
This is an economical extension hose for bringing water from your tap
to your garden. It includes 100' of poly header hose, one hose/faucet
connector and one compression end. Available in 1/2" or 5/8" I.D.
