5-Piece Spring-Clip Pliers

Spring clips are also called snap-rings or retention rings. Until recently, they were only used industrially but they are now showing up in consumer products because they are cheap, efficient and save manufacturing time. The problem for the consumer is that the springs are a nightmare to remove or replace if you do not have the specialized pliers needed. Unlike all other DIY sets on the market, this set covers 1/4" to 3/8" rings (the sizes used on consumer goods) as well as the usual 3/8" to 2-1/2" rings.

The four interchangeable heads are designed for use on either internal or external rings. This inexpensive set of pliers pays for itself the first time you need to deal with a spring clip.
