 | | Natural twines are great for garden use. Although it is quite strong, the main advantage of jute twine is its softness. Unlike wire or other binding materials, it won't cut into plants, making it ideal for tying plants to trellises or other supports. We offer it in green to blend into foliage. The 1 lb roll has approximately 515' of twine, while the jute ball has 200' of twine.
The sisal twine is the same rugged stuff farmers use for baling. It is much stronger and coarser than jute and therefore more suited to heavier-duty tasks, such as bundling branches or similar refuse.
