This is a fast, thorough and tidy way to clean bottles, vases or other narrow-necked vessels.
Simply fill the dirty container about 1/3 full of water, insert the funnel into the neck, and then pull the filtering plug, releasing about 350 tiny stainless-steel ball bearings.
Swishing the water and bearings produces a remarkably effective scouring action (even in corners and below the neck where vase brushes cannot reach), dislodging residue and debris without scratching.
Once finished, re-insert the plug and empty the bottle into the funnel. Water and debris drain through the plug's bristles, while the bearings are trapped in the funnel. Snap the lid back onto the kit for storage until its next use.
For use on any container with a neck greater than 5/8", it is equally effective on glass vases, carafes and stainless-steel insulated flasks
