Allowing installation and removal that is fast, easy and gentle on plants, these wrap-around cloches also pack flat so they take up very little room in storage. Simply gather foliage within the cloche as you enclose it around the plant; once set, the cloche holds its shape, forming a sturdy, freestanding structure to shield plants against frost or other harsh conditions.
Upper flaps interlock to form a domed roof that can be opened for ventilation or watering. Notches at the base let you feed an irrigation line through the cloche, and perforated tabs accept ground stakes (not included). Suitable for seedlings and low-growing crops, the small cloche stands about 11" tall with a 9" diameter base; the large version is about 18" tall with a 14" diameter base and has a cutout in the roof to accept a garden stake, making it ideal for tomatoes or peppers.
