Though developed to aid assembly of pocket-hole joinery projects, this
versatile work-holding system is also superb for securing work being
routed, sanded or carved.
The 21-3/4" x 33-3/4" laminated MDF tabletop provides
a smooth, stable work surface, and has two flush-mounted 2-1/4" wide
aluminum T-tracks that run along the top and side of the table. These
tracks let you set the included blocks and clamps exactly where you need
them for repeatable positioning and securing a workpiece.
The five plastic clamp blocks act as work stops for accurately positioning
work, and when used for pocket-hole joinery, can be set to provide the
appropriate offset for 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2" or 3" wide
stock, which allows you to center the joint line directly beneath the
clamp pad.
Adjustable for clamping force, the two spring-loaded steel clamps have
a 3" reach, secure work up to 4" thick, and swivel for best
positioning. The hinged foot pivots to accommodate odd-shaped material
and has a removable non-marring pad. A 6" long-reach clamp (6"
capacity) is also available separately.
The tabletop can be used alone, or mounted to a stand you build yourself
or to the heavy-gauge steel base sold separately. The base is height adjustable
from 31" to 36", has levelling feet, and comes with table-mounting
hardware. To let you build your own clamp table, a 33-5/8" long section
of T-track as well as the clamps and clamp blocks are available separately.
The track requires an 11/16" deep rabbet or groove and secures with
1/4" hex bolts and nuts you supply.
The table station, clamp blocks and T-track are made in the USA.
