If you've ever drilled holes in a scrap piece of wood to make your own drilling guide, you need these inserts.
Just drill a 5/8" hole, drive in an insert, and thread in the appropriate-sized bushing. The steel inserts are ribbed on the side to hold securely in place and are just shy of 1/2" in height. The hardened bushings are 3/4" high with a knurled top for easy insertion and removal. Both inserts and bushings can be reused again and again.
Superb for making jigs for repetitive drilling operations such as installing hinges, handles, slides, and knobs.
