For the first time in four decades, the Swiss army has updated the specifications on its famous pocketknife, adding several features that set the new model apart from its predecessor. Its large textured handle offers better grip, even when wet.
The selection of stainless-steel tools now includes a large 3-1/8" main blade with serrations toward the tip and a thumb-hole to allow one-handed opening, as well as a saw blade, can opener, bottle opener, reamer awl and a #2 Phillips, and 1/4" and 1/8" flat-head screwdrivers. The main blade and 1/4" flat screwdriver have liner locks for safe, reliable use.
Folded, it measures 4-1/4", compact enough to carry in a toolbox or pocket. Supplied with a lanyard ring. Still made by Victorinox, in Switzerland, of course.
