A bench dedicated to filling flats and pots, repotting and transplanting is a necessity for an active gardener. This is a good one, thoughtfully designed and made with care in Ohio by a small family-owned firm that specializes in manufacturing outdoor furniture.
Made of easily maintained, rot-resistant cypress wood, ensuring it will last for many years even in damp environments, the table is well sized with a 49" wide by 23" deep table top (nearly 34" high work surface).
Its best feature is the built-in soil reservoir. Just lift the panels on the table surface to reveal a 14 gallon plastic container that slides underneath and has a removable lid. Slats in one of the panels allow soil to be easily swept from the table top back into the reservoir. It has a lip at the back to contain soil on the table surface, and two storage shelves to hold pots and supplies.
An ideal gardener’s workbench. Comes flat packed and assembles quickly with only a wrench and a screwdriver.
