These 5" discs maximize dust collection while providing excellent sanding performance.
The dust-collection holes are arranged in a pattern of overlapping spirals; as air flows through the holes, it forms a vortex that helps draw debris away from the work more efficiently. This allows the disc to have holes that are smaller and occupy a combined area less than those on a typical disc, so there’s more abrasive surface to contact the work, reducing sanding time.
The durable ceramic alumina abrasive retains its cutting action through long use, with a stearate coating to help reduce clogging and a fiber-reinforced latex/paper backing that resists tearing. Compatible with any 5" random-orbit sanders that have a hook facing. Made in Canada, they excel on a range of materials from bare wood to fiberglass or painted surfaces.
