A simple and effective way to deal with dampness in small enclosed spaces such as closets and pantries, these reusable bags of silica gel desiccant crystals readily absorb moisture from the air.
Moisture is held in the crystals and cannot leak out, so the bag remains dry to the touch and water won’t wick into items stored nearby. Once the crystals are saturated, the image of a penguin printed on the bag turns pale pink; to recharge them, simply heat the bag in a microwave for a few minutes until the penguin turns blue again.
Supplied as a pair of cloth bags, each containing 9 oz (about 255g) of silica gel.
Useful around the home, as well as in cars, boats, campers and other areas where dampness is a concern.
