Description

Every now and then a truly revolutionary gardening tool comes along. That was the case when an inventor approached us with this clever weeding tool. Designed to remove the entire root of taproot weeds, it is ideal for use with dandelions.

It works by creating a high-pressure stream of water that blasts a hole beside the offending root and makes the root so loose that it almost swims in a mini sea of mud. To use, just squeeze the trigger and gently push the wand down into the ground alongside the root – the water drills the hole with little effort. Within moments the whole weed can be easily plucked out of the ground. As the water soaks into the ground, the hole fills itself in, leaving a smooth-looking lawn. It is as simple as that.

The weeder comes with a two-part wand, and can be shortened by half if you prefer to work on your knees instead of standing. Measures 43" overall. A real delight to use.

Also useful for removing or straightening fence posts, or as a fast and tidy way to make narrow, pre-watered holes for planting small bulbs such as lilies-of-the-valley or bluebells.
