Using a straight bit in the router, set it for 0.010" to 0.060" of cut (easily done with the micro-adjust) and then put the matching thickness of shim(s) behind the outfeed sub-fence. Loosen the sub-fence screws, drop in one or more of the color-coded shims and retighten. Voila! You have a jointer.
The micro-adjust substitutes for an adjustable infeed table and the shims give you an adjustable outfeed. The shims are 0.010", 0.020", and 0.030" thick and 12-3/4" long.
A simple, effective system.
