This is a good organizing system for sockets and screwdriver bits. To add versatility, the system can be wall mounted or used inside a drawer or toolbox or on a shelf.
Central to the system are the toolboards. Each has over 450 slots for 1/4" bits, making them the largest bit clips we’ve seen. Not only can you keep all your good driver bits neatly contained, accessible and sorted by size, but you’ll even have enough room to store your worn-but-still-usable-in-a-pinch bits off to one side (everyone’s got some!). The slots have internal ribs that grip 1/4" hex shanks firmly so bits, bit holders and extensions won’t get jostled loose yet are easy to extract. Each ABS toolboard is 7-1/2" x 11"; you can arrange as many as needed to fit available space (incidentally, four fit neatly into a 16" x 22" mechanic’s toolchest drawer).
Accessory socket pegs and tool clips are available separately to expand the utility of the boards. The pegs simply key into any of the slots and lock with a twist. Each has detents to hold a socket, adapter or extender securely. Sold in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" sizes, each in packages of 12. The tool clips have a curved paddle shape and have enough flex to exert a slight grip on items held between paired tabs. Their spacing can be varied and their curvature can be oriented two different ways to accommodate tools of various shapes and sizes. Available in packages of 12 (six pairs).
Expandable and modular, this is a versatile system for workshop storage. Highly recommended.
