Tomato Craters

This simple device makes tomatoes grow faster and bigger. It suppresses weeds, blocks cutworms, concentrates water at the roots, and warms the soil to increase root growth. It even helps prevent blossom end rot. The two-part design makes it easy to set in place after the seedling is planted.

Set on the soil under the plant, the red crater will increase yields and make the fruit set earlier. (Research done by a number of universities has shown that red reflects a certain spectrum of light back to the plants, which in turn triggers photosynthesis to stimulate rapid growth and development.)
