Though lightweight and well balanced, these Dutch-made tools are incredibly strong. Each is laser-cut from a single piece of solid steel, so there are no welds or brazing to compromise strength. The tang is embedded deep in the ash handle and secured with a steel ferrule.
The soil scraper is designed for scraping, chopping and backfilling soil. Turned on its edge, it is also great for furrowing. The 3" wide head has a bevelled edge that slices through and loosens soil while uprooting weeds. Overall length is 12-1/2"; weighs 6-1/2 oz.
The sharp, thin tines on the three-tine cultivator penetrate and separate the soil, aerating it, uprooting weeds and raking out debris. Overall length is 12-3/4"; weighs 5-1/2 oz.
The V-groove pick gets into tight nooks and crannies between plants or along edging. Highly maneuverable, it can be used to break up compacted soil, dig furrows for planting seeds, or pull shallow-rooted weeds and flick them away. Overall length is 12"; weighs 5 oz.
Great value in well-made tools. Available individually or in a set of 2 (soil scraper and cultivator).
The V-groove pick is no longer available.
