Forged Japanese Trowels

Unlike conventional trowels, this Japanese version combines features of a knife blade and a trowel. Designed to easily cut through roots and penetrate soil, it is ideal for dividing plants, weeding, and transplanting.

The 7" long by 3-1/2" wide forged carbon-steel blade comes ground to a keen edge, and has a relatively flat profile, making it easy to maintain the edge with a file. The Japanese oak handle is fastened with a steel ferrule.

Available with a 7" handle or with a 17-1/2" handle for extra reach. Available individually or as a pair.
