Low-Profile Mortar & Pestle

We tried this unusual mortar and pestle on hard spices, such as cloves and peppercorns, and on dried herbs, and were delighted with the performance. What we really liked is that the pestle almost entirely covers and traps the spices, so you don't have to chase them around in the mortar.

Made from solid marble. Measures about 4" across by 4" high. It is certain to be appreciated by the gourmet in the house.
