Until now, hanging a curtain on a windowed steel door required unsightly and permanent holes to be drilled. With our magnetic curtain rod holders, you can hang curtains without marking the door or degrading its insulation properties.
The 5/8" round steel holders contain powerful 1/2" rare-earth magnets, covered with a soft, high-friction pad to make them non-marring in use. Placed into the blind side hole, a 1/4" rod is suspended between opposing holders placed just outside and above the window trim.
Simply thread a 1/4" diameter rod through the curtain, pop a magnetic holder on each end and stick it to the door. Quarter inch wooden dowel can be used, but we also offer 1/4" glass-fiber-reinforced rod. Not only is this substantially stiffer than even hardwood dowel, but it is also molded white to help conceal it within your curtain. The rod can be cut with a hacksaw to suit your requirements.
Holders are gold plated, sold in pairs and made in Canada. Rod is made in the USA.
