Hide-Away Ironing Board

A built-in ironing board is a convenient space-saver, and this unit makes it easy to build one into a new or existing studded wall. Just cut out a 46" long panel of drywall between two studs and pop the entire unit into the space. The plywood insert portion is 14" wide, ideal for stud walls on 16" centers. The side and face trim are solid oak, and the door (which can be mounted left or right hand) has solid oak rails, stiles and oak veneer panels; all are ready for finishing.

Designed for 2 x 4 stud walls, the cabinet projects about 3" from the wall. On 2 x 6 stud walls, a flush mount is possible with removal of the side trim. The 42" x 11-1/4" ironing board swivels (making it easy to use for either left- or right-handed people) and comes with a fitted cover.

A convenient clothes hook, metal heat shield and all mounting hardware are included. A sturdy, well-made unit.
