Beginner Table Saw
Saturday, June 9, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
 
In this seminar, Geoff McEvoy will explain the most popular and productive stationary machine in a workshop. Focusing on understanding your table saw and its accurate and safe set-up, he will cover table saw types, what to look for when purchasing your first or upgrading your current saw, buying used vs. new, blade varieties, the saw’s anatomy, set-up, maintenance and more. Geoff will answer all your questions with emphasis on safety, especially understanding kickback.
Fee: $40.00
 
 
Geoff McEvoy gained his love for woodworking and building watching The New Yankee Workshop. Since the 1990s, Geoff has been an operations manager, project manager and technician in the live entertainment industry. He builds sets for theatre, corporate events and television. He continues his woodworking passion in his spare time at home, and when he regularly volunteers for theatre productions and various societies.

in seminars and attendees should be 16 years old or older.
Seminar tickets are not available online.
Beverages are provided at our seminars and a light
sandwich lunch is provided at all-day events.

your own coffee mug and/or refillable water bottle.
We require that you wear closed shoes
(e.g. running shoes) to all seminars.
