Description

A GFCI is an important safety device that helps prevent accidents by automatically interrupting a circuit if it detects a dangerous electrical current change. Though common in bathrooms of newer homes, they are not often available elsewhere in the home or in homes constructed before 1978.

This industrial-grade portable GFCI has a 2', 12-gauge heavy-duty cord with three receptacles and is intended to be plugged directly into a wall receptacle (not the end of an extension cord). Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it is rated at 15 amps (1875 watts), and has a test function, a reset toggle and a power indicator light. Manual reset is required after a GFCI trip or power outage occurs to prevent unintentional equipment start-up.

UL certified. Instructions included. Recommended for use with all portable tools. Color may vary.
