| This hands-on seminar is a great way for your child to explore woodworking
as she/he builds a toolbox with you in our workshop. No experience required.
We will provide all the materials and tools, and we will teach your child
some basic woodworking skills, as you and your child spend an enjoyable
time working together to build a toolbox. Your child will learn how to read
a plan, measure, mark and lay out the parts, clamp, saw by hand, safely
use a drill press and hammer, as well as how to sand the toolbox so that
it is ready for staining or painting at home. Our staff leaders will be
on hand to guide and offer advice. |
| |
| This toolbox is one in a series of projects we are working on to inspire young woodworkers with fun and useful things to make.
