For miniature and detail work, this set of five carving tools includes a skew, a bent parting tool, a bent gouge, a mortise chisel and a paring chisel.
Although similar in size to the detail carving sets (our 57D03.10 and 57D04.10), the profiles of the cutting edges are different. The cutters extend 1-1/8" from the 4" handles, a ratio that permits control and leverage.
The paring chisel is 1.5mm; the other tools are similar in size but may show slight variance.
Cherry octagonal handles. The steel is hardened and tempered to Rc58. Tools come sharpened and ready for use.
