Made from brass bar stock in our own machine shop to ensure the quality, it comes with two interchangeable tip ends – a heavy-duty rubber tip for everyday use, and a stainless-steel tip for additional grip when stream wading or mountaineering.
To fit the cane tip to the shaft, you can shape the shaft end freehand to match the tapered tip socket; to quickly apply a close-fit taper, you can use our 5/8" Veritas® Tapered Tenon Cutter (available separately).
