At about 15" long, these classic 9" x 1-3/4" strops let you use a long, full stropping stroke.
For best control, rest the square end on a table or bench as you strop the knife using a trailing stroke. It can be used with any edge tool, but excels with knives.
Available single or double sided. The double-sided strop would be used when you want green compound on one side and another type of compound (or left natural) on the other.
The set includes our double-sided leather strop and a 6 oz bar of Veritas® Honing Compound, which is very fast cutting and leaves a mirror finish.
Strops are made in Canada, honing compound is made in the USA.
