Flexible sanding pads with an aluminum oxide abrasive bonded to a high-density foam pad, ideal for sanding contoured shapes. Suitable for wood, painted surfaces, metal, drywall, plastic, fiberglass and other materials, they are usable wet or dry and can be rinsed with water.
The foam backing is more durable than paper and insulates against heat during prolonged use. In addition, when grit particles are bonded to foam, they perform differently than with a paper backing, yielding abrasive action comparable to finer grits; for example, 60x polishes much like 150x.
This 10-piece assortment includes grits ranging from coarse to super-fine (60x to 220x, which equates to 150x to 800x). Each measures 4-1/2" x 5-3/8" x 3/16" thick.
