Virtually all spatulas sold today are made from either thick plastic with no flex or sheet metal with minimal flex. This stainless-steel spatula is only 0.010"/0.25mm thick (the thickness of five catalog pages) at the leading edge, increasing to 0.035"/0.9mm at the tang.
Wonderfully flexible, it can slide under an egg or a warm cookie without acting like a snowplow. About 10-1/2" long overall, it has a 2-3/4" x 3-5/8" blade, and comes with a fitted guard for protection in drawer storage. For those who remember the wonderfully flexible thin flippers of old, this is a modern rendition.
