Water runs through small holes in the spike and flows directly to the root zone where it is most needed. Depending on soil conditions and the size of bottle used, it usually takes several hours to discharge.
If you also add a water-soluble fertilizer, you can feed your plants at the same time. Great for watering tomatoes, landscape plants, or plants in large pots.
