Magnetics Science Kit | The seeds of creativity and a desire to learn can be sown in different ways but none more enjoyable
than in a kit that constantly amazes as it informs.
This kit uses a newly developed product, ferrofluid (that becomes a solid in a magnetic field), and powerful rare-earth magnets to educate and entertain while demonstrating some basic laws of physics and electricity. Many of the phenomena appear to be sheer magic to the uninitiated, even those who are familiar with rare-earth magnets.
The kit comes with a 20-page booklet describing various experiments, the science that underpins the resulting phenomena, and all of the gear needed. It is an open-ended kit that includes display containers for the experiments as well as 30ml of ferrofluid,
15 rare-earth magnets, 12 steel balls, a copper pipe, 24" of track, iron filings, gloves and a pipette.
Not recommended for children under 10 and we recommend adult supervision the first time it is used. In fact, the kit has as much interest for adults as for younger students of science.
