Puzzle Lock | This brass behemoth is based on a 15th-century design that was completely mystifying to thieves.
Not only does it require three keys and four sequential operations to open, but it has no apparent keyholes.
The lack of apparent keyholes and the fact that the four operations had to be performed in the correct sequence made it a marvel of deception in its day.
With a solid brass body and a 1/2" diameter steel hasp, it weighs 2 lb, enough to stop a charging moose. The lock is 5-1/2" high by 2-1/4" wide by 2" thick.
It includes two sets of keys (six keys in all) and the puzzle solution. |
