Mr. Bob Sorensen from Tucson, Arizona, recently sent in this photo of his wood carving entitled "Ollie the Oiler". He won first prize for the piece in the single-caricature division at the Annual Desert Woodcarving Show, held in Mesa, AZ, this past February.

Woodcarving has been Mr. Sorenson's hobby for the last 25 years. He mainly focuses on carving caricatures and busts. Last year, he took a course from renowned American caricature carver, Marv Kaisersatt. This piece is one of Mr. Kaisersatt's designs. It was painted using acrylic paints.
