Improving a Wonderful Wonder Tool

The following is a list of improvements and upgrades made to the original wonder machine:

Smaller contact wheels provide more room for contour sanding

Fine-thread tracking adjustment

Cork motor mount for quiet running

Balanced steel pulleys, a link belt and rubber feet help lessen vibration

Hidden wiring and a forward rocker switch look tidy and are safer

An L-shaped 8"x9" worktable allows for fast belt changes

Rust proof construction used throughout

Dust-free ball bearings

Strong 1/2 hp motor

Wonder Tool
The improved "Wonder Tool".

This good-looking, lightweight, quiet, safe and strong machine can be used with micro-fine to 36-grit belts, even 1/4" thick polishing belts. This machine can do it all, from precision miniature work in metal, wood, plastic, et cetera, to large roughing out in sculptures and general shop work.

In three years, my new machine has endured approximately 1,000 hours of trouble-free use, and my shop would not be complete without it. My grandsons are using these machines daily. This sander makes my day not only in how wonderfully it performs, but also the grateful memory of my dad is always there every time I use it.
