The Door for the Lower Case Continued:

The Drawers:

1. A thin plastic template was used to lay out the dovetails for the drawers.

2. Double-lap dovetails were used to attach the drawer fronts to the sides.

4. Sliding dovetails were used to attach the back to the sides; the stopped grooves were cut with the azebiki and cleaned with chisels.
