Then
there is the name "ART WOOD PRODUCTS". Brazen, is
it not? As an object of beauty and style this tool has it all,
including sweeping lines, things to fiddle with and the obligatory
bits of shiny brass to attract the crows. The use of at least
four different native wood types also shows a flair for innovation.
The sole is beech, the side outriggers are oak, the handle is
pine and the rollers appear to be birch.
Finally, it takes a confident sales team to place such an aggressive
trademark/motto on one's product: "MADE BETTER THAN NECESSARY"
is a strong and enduring testimony to this manufacturer's belief
in his product. Perhaps there is a former resident of Wooster,
Ohio, who can shed some light on this mystery tool.
