Water Spikes

These perforated plastic spikes direct water flow towards plant roots, dispersing water evenly throughout the pot. A solid spike inside the perforated spike blocks soil from entering the holes during insertion. Once the spikes are in the soil, remove the solid spike, leaving the perforated spike in place, and snap on the screen cap. Now you can water through the screen.

Spikes are available in two lengths. The 3" size will water plants in pots up to 10" in diameter, while the 5" size is for use in pots 12" to 14" in diameter. Offered in packages of six.

We recommend using multiple spikes for larger-diameter pots. Liquid or pellet fertilizer can also be used in this product.
