These metal bedlocks provide a flexible and secure method of attaching bed rails to headboards and footboards. Slipped into a 3/8" mortise, they are virtually invisible, and the integral formed pins can't ever fall out.
A. The 3-3/4" high regular bedlocks fasten to the bedpost parallel to the mortise.
B. The plated cold-rolled steel bed hooks are used with either style of bedlock, and are about 3-1/2" high.
C. The 6" high sleigh-bed bedlocks fasten to the support post well back of the mortise, which eliminates the chance of wood splitting.
All parts are made from heavy-gauge steel; bedlocks are prime coated with a tan finish.
