Inset a Guitar Rosette
Thursday, April 4, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In this seminar, you will plan, lay out, and cut a circular groove in a thin piece of wood much like a guitar top, and install a pre-formed rosette in the groove. Using standard woodworking tools like the plane and card scraper, you will then match the thickness to the top to make a seamless and attractive installation. All tools and materials provided.
Fee: $75.00

George McLeod is a retired Chartered Accountant with a lifelong passion for woodworking, artistry and music. George has played guitar since the 1990s and has recently designed and crafted ten very unique cigar box gittys. One of these gittys is a dual neck double body tenor/bass and another is played by recording artist Andy Squint. Pictures of George’s craftsmanship can be viewed at www.cigarboxnation.com.
