  Hand-crafted buffet
Dear Lee Valley,

Hello, my name is Sylvain (Elvis) Lavoie from Pohénégamook City, Quebec, Canada. I am a craftsman, woodworker and sculptor. Since my childhood, I learned this trade from my father, who was a carpenter. In addition, a master sculptor named Mr. Gil Bourgault inspired me, and now I create my own collections of furniture. The wood used in my work is selected directly from the forest by my father. The creations are made by my personal inspiration and original plans, and these give them a unique look. The buffet in the pictures is 90" high by 84" wide and weighs about 700 lb. I spent more than 800 hours working on it and had to use more than 650 sq. ft. of white pine to build it. I use only and specifically hardware from Lee Valley.

Bests regards,
Sylvain (Elvis) Lavoie
