Paul Beebe, a Canadian knifemaker, makes these knives to our specifications. They are truly outstanding.
The #11 knife is for general wasting and whittling. With the blade canted about 10° forward, it is more comfortable and more effective in use than a straight blade.
The #12 blade (canted about 30° forward) tapers to a wafer-thin tip and is excellent for incised work of any kind, undercutting, or even chip carving. It penetrates well.
The pau ferro handles are 5-1/2" long.
The #11 has been grouped with two other favorites, the #8 and #9, to provide a comprehensive range in three carving knives.
Beautifully finished and razor sharp.
Made in Canada.
