This reamer has a cast steel alloy body, a separate spring-steel blade, and a pair of blade-adjusting set screws.
When reaming out an existing hole (7/16" to 1-3/16" in diameter), the depth can be adjusted for working soft or hard woods and the angle can be adjusted for tenon/socket fit. The body has an included angle of 12.8° to match the tenons from our Veritas® Tapered Tenon Cutters when making chair-leg socket joints.
5-5/8" long overall, with a tapered square shank for use in a two-jaw hand brace. Weighs about 8 oz. Blade is easy to sharpen.
