An accessory for our standard miter box (01H07.01), this extension ensures square frame corners by making opposing sides of equal length.
It uses a simple but effective stop-positioning method that reduces the chance of error by eliminating the need to do any math. The scale automatically compensates for the width of the rabbet and locates the stop for cutting to the correct overall length.
Usable right or left of the blade, it requires no modification of the miter box, although mounting both to a base is recommended. Can also be used to cut 5-, 6-, and 8-sided frames.
Made with an extruded aluminum bed, it has a length capacity of 80 to 700mm (3-1/8" to 27-9/16").
