Sierra Pen Hardware  | | | Compact yet comfortable, this pen has a single straight barrel that is easy to turn. The tapered black grip and finial contrast with the plated surfaces, giving it a sleek, refined appearance. Mechanism operates with a 1/2 turn and takes a Parker-style refill.
The starter kit consists of two pen kits in a gold finish, bushings, and the required drill bit. Mandrel or shaft sold separately. Mandrels offered with a #1 or a #2 Morse taper (MT), to suit the headstock of your lathe. Alternatively, the mandrel shaft can be held in a self-centering chuck.
Because mishaps can occur during turning or assembly, we offer brass replacement tubes for each kit. Package contains 10 tubes, enough to make five pens. Blanks not included in kits.
Use a 27/64" drill bit. The minimum blank size is 3/4" x 2-1/4".
