Because the blade is under tension rather than compression on the cutting stroke, it can be much narrower than an ordinary keyhole saw. Very small radius cuts are possible. The teeth need little set because the blade is tapered from tooth to back.
It comes razor sharp with a 12 tpi blade, 8" long; 12-1/2" long overall. The blade is double pinned in a hardwood handle. An excellent saw.
