Clear Wood Finish Brushing Lacquer

A smooth, nitrocellulose-based lacquer suitable for wood furniture, cabinets, panelling and crafts.

Formulated with a free-flowing consistency and self-levelling properties, it can be applied by brush (pure-bristle), roller or spray.

The clear, non-yellowing lacquer is dry to the touch in 30 minutes and allows application of subsequent coats at 2-hour intervals (apply a minimum of three coats for best protection). No sanding is required between coats.

Though best on bare wood surfaces, the lacquer can be used on previously stained or lacquered items provided surfaces have cured and all traces of residual stain, oil or wax have been removed.

For touch-up work and smaller pieces, the same lacquers are available in aerosol cans, 347g (12 oz). The easily adjustable spray valves produce vertical and horizontal fan-spray patterns.

Available in gloss, semi-gloss and satin finishes. Clean with lacquer thinner. Available in quarts (32 fl oz/946ml). Coverage is about 100 sq.ft. per quart.
