A. These durable clamps have a spring-loaded mechanism for quick, one-handed jaw advancement. The composite jaws reverse for spreading applications and have non-marring, soft-rubber padded faces that are crosshatched for grip. The steel clutch plate is thumb operated and slides easily over the 1/4" x 3/4" steel bar. With a throat depth of 3-3/8" and a load limit of about 330 lb, they are excellent value. Maximum nominal opening capacity is listed.
B. & C. The optional clamp plate (2-1/2" high and 6-5/8" in diameter) is used for radial connection of up to 12 clamps. Use the clamp extender to combine shorter clamps for greater length, e.g., two 36" clamps to make a 72" clamp. For use only with the squeezer/spreader clamps shown here, both the plate and extender are made from a tough, nylon composite.
