Dear Customer,

We know that it can be difficult to get excited about hardware – it just doesn’t have the same cachet as the newest woodworking tool or the latest advancement in gardening implements. We understand that there’ll be no rush of orders for the new additions to this catalog. And we’re okay with that.

Hardware is the glue that holds much of our living spaces together. It lets doors open, and keeps them shut. It holds things closed, open, up or down. It stops things from moving, or makes them move the way you want. You can use it to level, tilt, hang, square or swivel.

It can also offer much more than just a functional enhancement; combinations of shape, texture and finish can be used to accent a single piece, or tie together an entire suite. It can express a perspective, or underscore an aesthetic.

Hardware can be the solution to a variety of problems. And when you figure out what the problem is, we’re confident the solution will be somewhere in these pages. In fact, we’re counting on it.
