Description

These Blum hinges set the standard for European-style hinges. Not only are they easy to quickly install, but they remain hidden when the door is closed. Hinges are spring-loaded with two rest positions, fully open or fully closed. They are nickel plated for a clean, rust-proof finish.

The clip hinge style allows doors to be removed without tools, and without loss of adjusted positions. They are the best choice for general applications.

Aside from the obvious difference in opening angles, there can be additional reasons for choosing one hinge opening over another, as the door takes a different path on opening. Configured for overlay applications, these hinges are available with four maximum opening angles (95°, 107°, 120°, 170°). The 170° hinges will let the doors fully clear the cabinet interior, but can create a pinch hazard for small fingers, as the gap between door and carcass is larger. For these clip-top standard hinges, 95° to 120° hinges are the best choice, with 107° being the most popular.

Intended for use on doors from 16mm to 22mm (5/8" to 7/8") thick. The 35mm (1 3/8") diameter hinge cup, which is mounted on the door, is 11.5mm (7/16") deep. Hinge cups are all metal. Hinges are adjustable ±3mm vertically, ±2mm horizontally and 3/-2mm in depth after installation.

Once the hinge is installed, the exposed adjustment screws can be covered with optional steel caps, available separately (not available for the 95° overlay hinge). We also offer clip-on Blumotion soft-close devices separately for these clip-top hinges.

Sold in pairs. Screws, mounting instructions and bumper pads are included. Made in Austria.
