These make great gifts for people over 50 (or even 40 sometimes).

You only need to turn a handle (blank should be a minimum of 5" long by 1" square) to hold the gold-plated split ring that encases a 2 1/2" diameter lens, ground to 3x magnification. A threaded insert tightens the handle to the frame.

It comes with a brass handle sleeve and gold-plated end plug. For easiest turning, we recommend our standard or universal mandrel and magnifier bushings (sold separately). Requires a 7mm drill.
